2026 Scholarship Application
Application Procedure

Complete application in its entirety.

Prepare an original essay of a minimum of 500 words, double spaced. The applicant may reference surveys, current events, magazine and/or newspaper articles, personal interviews, as well as expressing personal opinions.
Qualifications/Eligibility

The applicant must be a graduating high school senior or an undergraduate student

The applicant must be attending a college or university

The applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher

The applicant must have the recommendation of his/her guidance counselor/ academic advisor, community member and teacher/professor.

All essays become the property of Church of the Harvest Scholarship Foundation.

There is no discrimination as to race, color, religion, gender or national origin.
Method of Selection

The Scholarship Committee of COTH will make its selections based upon the application submitted by the student and his/her essay.

Scholarship winners will be notified via phone and email.

Scholarships will be awarded ONLY to the designated office of the recipient’s college, university or technical school in South Carolina for the spring/fall semester once an acceptance and clearance letter has been received.

If the required documentation is not submitted within 3 weeks of being notified of the award, the award will be forfeited.

Applicants that fail to follow all procedures and meet all qualifications will be disqualified and funds will not be awarded to the recipient.
Essay Topic:
Identify a significant problem in the world today. Why does this issue matter to you personally, and in what ways do you hope to contribute to its solution?

Please provide one letter of recommendation.

Include a copy of your high school transcript with the application.
Three Awards will be presented totaling $3,000
Three $1,000 awards for students
(If applicable, one of the $1,000 student awards will be presented to the child of an COTH member)
